Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Team members from Rockliffe Hall are taking part in a gruelling challenge, which will be a serious test of both endurance and stamina. The team of 12 cyclists will tackle the 200 mile route which takes in some of the toughest climbs in Yorkshire, with over 15,000 foot of climbing on Sunday 26th July 2015.

The team are raising money for the Children's Heart Surgery Fund at the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit. They are riding in memory of a team member’s nephew, Kartor Aston who tragically passed away just 5 weeks old after being born with a heart condition, despite undergoing major heart surgery within hours of being born. The money raised will secure additional equipment for the unit in Leeds.
