We educate disadvantaged young people to transform lives and communities in Kenya

Story

If you have logged onto this page we can only hope that it is to sponsor our attempt to cycle 150 miles on Mountain Bikes "Coast to Coast" across the Lake District and Pennines from Whitehaven to Sunderland at the end of April 2011.

We have set ourselves this challenge to raise money for Kisima Secondary School which provides secondary education to 160 boys and girls from the Northern Frontier District of Kenya, one of the most remote and neglected areas of the world.  These children will be the future leaders of their communities and it is hoped that through education they will feel empowered to make lasting and sustainable changes to end decades of strife, war and dependency.

Kisima is now in its seventh year and is funded by The Educational Frontier Trust (TEFT), a small charity run by volunteers which ensures that all money donated goes directly to the school.   Kisima could not survive without the money raised by TEFT, so please sponsor us now - it will make the long slog far easier when we know that others share our vision.

THANK YOU SO MUCH

Robin
