On Saturday, 14 September, I shall again be participating in this annual fund-raising event.  In previous years, your support to me and my fellow walkers/riders has been quite amazing, and St Mary’s has consistently been among the top contributors to GHCT through the Ride & Stride - and, of course, a beneficiary too. As last year, owing to limitations on the ability of some members of the team (including me, alas) to walk significant distances, we shall be taking advantage of the recently introduced dispensation and visiting a number of remote rural churches in the Gloucester North Cotswold Deanery by car.  There may, however, still be opportunity for some modest walking between churches for those of us who are able.



I well know how many excellent causes there are out there, but whatever you can spare for this one will be very gratefully received. 50% of the money raised (plus all Gift Aid) will go to GHCT and 50% to my own church, St Mary the Virgin, Great Witcombe.
