The Free Representation Unit (FRU) is a charity that provides legal advice, case preparation and advocacy in employment and social security tribunal cases. It provides vital legal assistance (via volunteers) to those who are not eligible for Legal Aid, and who are otherwise unable to afford legal representation. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to justice, whatever their means, and would be delighted to raise a few pennies for the FRU to help with their important work.
