Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It was just this morning (whilst eating my double sausage and egg mcmuffin meal on the way to the tube) that I was thinking how I always admire people who have the tenacity to put themselves through unnecessary suffering in order to raise money for charity. This is probably because I am inherently lazy and I have a penchant for Guinness and cheese.
Recently however, I was asked if I knew anyone who would consider entering the London Triathlon to help raise funds for Alzheimers Society - with London 2012 still fresh in my mind, and the hype of the Tour de France zooming past the offices - I was overwhelmed with an enthusiasm that far exceeds any athletic prowess that I may or may not possess.
The result is that I have signed up for the sprint distance event which is being held at the Excel in the docklands on 2nd of August 2014. I am delighted to be doing my part to raise money for the fantastic cause that is Alzheimers Society and should be grateful to all those of you who can donate to the cause through this JustGiving site.
