My wife, Lesley, has an inoperable brain tumor, however after 6 weeks of radical radiotherapy during January and February of this year, it is hopefully responding to treatment. I decided while I can’t influence what happens to Lesley I can make a difference by putting my efforts to good use and raise money for Brainstrust by doing this cycle ride and other fundraising events.

I have chosen Brainstrust as they were an invaluable source of support and advice to Lesley when she was informed about her tumours growth in October of last year, even paying for a second opinion with a private consultant for her, to ensure we were being given the correct advice regarding the treatment of the tumour which was very reassuring for us as a family. Because of all this we would just like to give something back to them for all they have and are continuing to do for us. They are only a small charity but do so much with the little resourses they have if you click on the link you can see the great things they do for brain tumour patients.
