As a child i read the exploits of Sir Edmund Hilary and Sherpa Tenzing conquering Mount Everest for the first time; this book also opened my eyes to the existence of the larger world.
One of my lifelong ambitions has been to visit Nepal and see Everest for myself, sadly this as yet has not been fulfilled but following the recent devastating earthquake i feel the need to do something for the Nepalese people. They are  strong, proud people who need our support now.
