Story
Not content with having cycled from Southwark Bridge to Le Tour Eiffel in just 4 days last year, this September, over 50 single-minded cyclists from Team RBC will return to the saddle, determined to conquer a 225-mile route in just 3 days. Incroyable? C'est vrai!
A mix of RBC staff and their clients will set off at 7.00am on September 10th leaving well-wishers in their wake and proceed south towards Portsmouth for this gruelling 75 mile leg. Once their ferry has dropped them in Caen, our riders, all of mixed ability, will spend their Friday meandering through rural Northern France toward their final stopover in the beautiful cathedral city of Evreux. From here, Team RBC will surface in the early hours of Day 3, with crystal clear heads and a solid resolve to reach their final destination in front of Gustav Eiffel's iconic monument.
Last year's 4-day feat helped raise over £50,000 which helped fund key redevelopments at Great Ormond Street Hospital. To push Team RBC to £1.5 million raised for the Charity, a new target of £70,000 has been set for London to Paris, 2015. Please donate whatever you are able, however small it may seem, and help Team RBC reach it's goal. You'll be helping us secure the best possible treatment for young patients who frequently, only have Great Ormond Street Hospital to turn to for the treatment they desperately need.
Working in the City? Why not come and cheer our riders on their way on 10 September at 7.00am on the north side of Southwark Bridge
