Thank you for supporting our fundraising in aid of ActionAid.

The photo above shows a current school building in Mozambique being used for children who were displaced following Cyclone Idai in 2019. The country is still trying to recover so we wanted to do something to help. 

We are personally committed to raising £30,000, which together with an additional donation from a charitable trust, will fund a new brick built school consisting of 3  classrooms, a teacher's block containing a staffroom and headteacher's office plus toilet blocks for boys, girls and teachers. Classrooms will be painted and furnished with desks, chairs and blackboards ready for use.

With this build, we want to be able to support the 336 children currently registered to the school, as well as being able to provide safe space for more to attend. This will allow all students to be able to learn inside which will improve their concentration and quality of education so they are able have the future they deserve.
