Hi every one, I'm hoping you can all help and donate to my just giving page towards the St Giles Hospice Vietnam trek in 2013, my son Liam and his friend Gaz, along with hopefully 27 others are doing this to raise funds for the hospice which is located just outside Lichfield in Staffordshire and cares for the terminally ill as well as supporting the family's and carers, the hospice relies totally on donations from the public and fund raising, so please give generously to this worthy cause, thanks for your support, rob
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. St Giles provide services across the three sites i have mentioned, these include two in-patient facilities,a day hospice and the second biggest lymphoedema clinic in the country, complementary theraoies ,supportive care programmes and out-patient appointments. these services are all provided free of charge and according to a perons individual needs to promote the best possible quailty of living and end of life care as well as support with berevement for family and carers.St Giles spends £8 million a year providing these services,of which only a bit more than a third comes from the goverment.St Giles relies heavily on donations and fundraising from the local community, including fundraising events such as the trek to Vietnam,i am also doing this in memory of my ex wife who passed away at ST Giles in 2010 and recieved the very best of care, and last but not least, its a personal challenge for me and gives me the motivation to give something back to a wonderful Charity, thank you so much for your support.
