I am cycling from London to Paris between 21st and 25th September, 2016 in memory of my father, John Ebdon, who died at St Catherine's Hospice, Crawley on 7th September, 2015.  Dad was a Vice-President of St Catherine's Hospice - having been a founder member back in 1981 responsible for its construction.  He was passionate about the Hospice and he received wonderful care from the staff there in the last few weeks of his life.  I want to raise as much funding as I possibly can for St Catherine's. 

Dad was very involved in so many facets of life in Sussex; his career in the construction industry with James Longley & Co. Ltd; his love of cricket, of Sussex County Cricket Club and the MCC; his work as Chairman of the Chichester Diocesan Advisory Committee for the care of Churches; The Friends of Lancing College Chapel and his support for St Catherine's Hospice and for Christopher's Hospice too.  I hope that family and friends from all of these organisations - and many more - will feel able to support this fundraising initiative in memory of John Ebdon.
