Event: London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019, on 24 March 2019
Our amazing team of 15 are running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019 in support of Wac Arts. Together they want to raise £10,000 to support Wac Arts performing arts programmes for young people of all abilities and backgrounds.

Story

Please join in raising valuable funds for Wac Arts by sponsoring me to finish this year's London Landmarks Half Marathon!

It's been around 5 years since I last dragged my lazy bum more than 100 metres at a time, so your donations will be a great source of motivation for me in completing the hardest physical test I've ever faced. If you're quietly thinking to yourself "he won't manage it", then put your money where your mouth is!

For those of you who don't know about Wac Arts, they're a charity with 40 years experience offering subsidised, inclusive performing arts and media training courses to young people in North London. It's my hope that, with your generous donations, we can help Wac Arts to continue to empower young people to find and practice something they love, regardless of circumstance.

And a final, extra boost: anyone coming down to watch the race on 24 March 2019 will be treated to some of the young people at Wac Arts performing at points along the route!
