Story
Dear all,
It's an odd time to reach out to you especially when many of you have been separated from your loved ones, or are close to someone who has been sick, or worse, passed away in the past few months. There are so many amazing charities out there helping out NHS in different ways and you may have already contributed to some of them.
Our family has been hit by our own tragic accident prior to the Covid-19 epidemic. As some of you know, my father was hit by a car about seven months ago. After spending four months in various NHS intensive care units, he has been sent to Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) for his further care. As a result of the accident, he has been unfortunately left with severe brain damage and is in need of specialised care, possibly for the rest of his life.
The RHN is a charity providing the best possible care for people living with neuro-disability. As a charity, much of their amazing work is only possible through the funding provided by voluntary donations. Given the times, their fund raising activity is now impaired when Covid-19 makes it needed more than ever, with all of their patients in the vulnerable category.
If you think you can respond to this appeal in any way, we would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. Please spread the word with others if you think appropriate.
Most importantly, keep safe.
Lots of love,
Rita & Rachel & Michael
