Story
At Auto Trader we take our social responsibilities very seriously. It is driven by our values and culture and is focused on making a difference in the community by supporting grassroots charities and causes that are important to both us and to our clients. An important part of our charity work often includes physically demanding fundraising activities, such as walking or cycling challenges. Over the years our colleagues and clients alike have climbed mountains, peddled across the Pyrenees and even navigated across the Continent, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, all in aid of raising vital funds for our chosen charities.
This year’s challenge is no exception and we have taken on the daunting task of riding between our UK offices; starting in London’s King’s Cross and finishing over 200 miles north in central Manchester. We will be riding for three days (16th - 18th May) and attempting to cover an average of 85 miles per day, culminating with a gruelling climb across the picturesque, but very steep, Peak District.
We are proud to say that this year we will continue our partnership with the wonderful Tree of Hope charity organisation and help their incredible work in supporting families of sick children in the UK and Ireland who need specialist medical surgery, treatment, therapy and
equipment. All of the money we raise will be going to help fund a life changing operation for Kallie. Kallie is a beautiful and inspiring six year old girl who has congenital heart disease and cerebral palsy. One of her dreams is to be just like her friends and walk and play as any able bodied child does.

This really could prove to be our toughest and most challenging event so far, so please wish us luck and please donate whatever you can to help make a difference to Kallie’s life.
