Story
In June and July this year, six students will attempt the 2013 St Andrews Charities Campaign Challenge: RICKSHAW INDIA. We will be driving rickshaws from the southern tip of India to Delhi in order to raise money for charity.
We aim to raise £10,000 as a team, and all money raised will be managed by the St Andrews Charities Campaign (SACC), with 50% going to the charity of our choice, PRATHAM: the largest NGO working to provide quality education to underprivileged children in India.
The other 50% will go to SACC’s six nominated charities (CHAS, Families First, RNLI, Macmillan Cancer Support, Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, and Médecins Sans Frontières).
At St Andrew’s we are fortunate to be getting a world-class education. We chose Pratham because we believe education is a crucial stepping-stone to making the world a better place for everyone.
Please be generous.
Thank you, The Rickshaw India Team
