Story

Together with Alan Peacock, we are the Paint On Rust Rusty Cyclers team ~ between us we have six legs, four wheels, and a combined age of 168 years.  We are more used to knocking back the Shiraz than clocking up the miles but we aim to get around the 50km Solway Coast course.

It is 15 years since we last climbed onto bikes - but 4 weeks ago Rick and I bought a tandem (Tallulah) and started a wobbly journey to new found fitness and fresh air. Last time we cycled it was in miles - these appear to have been replaced with kms, which are mercifully shorter - so 50 of these modern kms it will be!

If we raise twice our team target of £200 we rashly have committed (after too much of the aforementioned Shiraz) to doing the 100km course next year. So if you have to donate, please make it small!
