Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Trust (MS Trust)
Hi everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. I was diagnosed with MS in November 2022, 3 weeks after my daughter was born. It is manageable with treatment but a lifelong condition. I want to raise as much money as possible to support the great work that the MS Trust do for myself and others less fortunate than myself more advanced with the condition. For me, life is pretty normal at the moment as I look to start treatment in the coming months but I am being careful not to burn the candle at both ends as my wife keeps reminding. No mean feat with two young children in the house! It hasn’t properly sunk in at the moment, I am doing a good job ignoring it by staying my usual positive self.
To raise money for the MS Trust as well as intending to walk 300km in June, I have completed 10,000 steps everyday in April and on the 13th May myself and my wife completed the 10k route of the Manchester Walk for MS. My daughter was pushed round like the princess she is and my son, who wanted to walk the whole way started and ended over the line with a stint in the pram in the middle following an emergency greggs run to keep his energy up.
I know times are tough at the moment but anything you can assist me with in reaching my goal will be greatly appreciated and put to good use in the work the MS trust does in seeking to reduce the effects of MS.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
