This summer we will be spending our medical electives in Nepal, working in both a hospital in Pokhara, and then in healthcare delivery to the rural communities of Nepal. We will be doing all of this as part of the Mountain Trust - a great charity based in Nepal that has been involved in healthcare since 2001.
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world (206 of the 228 countries!), and healthcare is even harder to deliver due to Nepal's mountains, current fuel crisis and damage from the 2015 earthquake. We are aiming to raise £500 to support the mountain trusts work; you can read all about it here www.mountain-trust.org/healthcare
The Mountain Trust is truly an incredible charity, and all the money that is raised here will go direct to their projects on the ground.
Thank you!
