Story
Starting on the 5th of August I will be competing in the Privas 72 hour race. This involves race-walking around and around a 1,025 meter circuit, completing as many laps as I can, for 72 hours.
During the race I hope to beat the New Zealand race-walking records for 200km, 48 hours and 72 hours, and hopefully also 200 miles.
As this will be my longest ever race I am also using this as an opportunity to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the UK and would appreciate it if you can please make a small donation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
You can also follow my progress during the race by liking my facebook page ( www.facebook.com/richardwalkslondon) as I will be posting regular updates before and during the race.
Thanks heaps
Richard
