Story
Together with some friends, I will be walking the frankly quite painful distance of 14 miles in order to raise funds for vital cancer research and treatment at the oldest specialist cancer hospital in the world. Cancer touches everyone, sooner or later, whether they themselves become ill or someone near them; my mother died of cancer, and in the last months a friend's very young son has received crucial treatment for leukemia at the Royal Marsden.
Thanks to the generosity of my employer, all funds I raise for charity will also have a matching donation from them. So every pound you donate to me is two pounds to the Royal Marsden, plus another 25p from Gift Aid on top if you're a UK taxpayer. So please, dig deep and contribute to this cause (and my sore feet.)
