Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

What have I let myself in for?...........

I am a middle aged, slightly overweight, recreational cyclist.

"Fancy doing the Aberdovey 4-dayer?" I said yes!

The 4-dayer is a 400 mile plus cycle ride through and over the mountains of Snowdonia with the last day finishing in Aberdovey. This event is aimed at "elite" cyclists. Myself and my fellow compadres (Team Fablass 5) are not quite elite but we are dedicated and determined to quieten the doubters and raise money for this and other local worthwhile charitites.

Aberdovey Bike Ride is a annual charity bike ride, run by West Midlands police in Wolverhampton, to raise funds for local charities. They have been operating since 1992 and have provided a charity bike ride each year. Since 2014 they have also run a 3  and now 4 Day Challenge leading up to the main ride which gives the more experienced riders an extended challenge. http://www.aberdoveybikeride.co.uk/
