I am very grateful to everyone who came before me that took part in trials, had pioneering surgery and helped to raise funds and awareness into the cause and treatment of brain tumours. This allowed me to have a safer treatment plan and therefore better prognosis. 

I  now want to give something back, I am so lucky to be riding a bike 2 months after a craniotomy. And although some people do this distance in a day, it will be a new challenge for me to take on.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
