Story
My mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2010 and she died on 26th February 2011. At the time of diagnosis, the tumour was so large that she could not undergo surgery to have it removed. She had no symptons before October and this is the problem with this type of cancer. By the time it is discovered, it is too late.
Only 3% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer survive for more than 5 years. This statistic has not changed for 40 years.
Please donate what you can so that in the future these statistics change and other people have a better chance of survival.
Thank you.
