Story
Over the course of September Elwood Jones will be representing the Asian Cinema Film Club podcast as he attempts to watch 30 Takashi Miike films in 30 days. To raise money for Marvels and Meltdowns
Takashi Mikke is unquestionably a visionary director with over 100+ films which helped revive the intrest in Asian Cinema for the west.
Marvels and Meltdowns is a parent-led, not-for-profit, registered charity supporting families with children affected by ADHD ASC and SPD. It provides a physical space for the children to play, and for the parents to take a breath and talk to other parents and carers who understand the challenges, frustrations and joy of having a child on the autistic spectrum. It also provides another valuable service in a virtual space through social media where parents can go and vent, cry, celebrate the wins and ask for guidance on the bad days.
