Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The ride took place from Sunday 23 August to Saturday 5th September.

Richard cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats!  Unfortunately though Jo had to stop after 500 miles due to a very sore knee on day 7.  She is ok now.

It was 1005 miles of very hard riding over 13 days - it rained on every day and there were floods in Inverness and high winds.  The last day was into a northerly gale.  We went in a group of nine riders.

Last time was our 20th Wedding Anniversary - now it is our 30th!!

We will continue to raise money for a while longer for late donations for NSPCC - a great Charity - and Network Rail will match your donation to this particular charity - so it is worth double.  Please give anything you can - it all adds up to make a significant difference.

We would like publicly to thank Callum MacLeod, Gavin Black,Vanessa and Matt for driving the support vehicle, and Graham Edwards for lending it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
