Unfortunately on the 5th October Henry, who is the 3 year old son of a friend,  contracted Ecoli and a disease called HUS which attacks the Kidneys, Stomach and Brain. Henry was admitted to Bristol Children’s Hospital on the 11th October and was in a coma for 6 weeks. Nearly 8 months later there has been some improvement and he has now been moved to The Children's Trust Neuro rehab centre where he can start some kind of rehabilitation to prepare him for his return home in 6-12 months.

Henry's Dad, Phil, has set himself a series of challenges to raise money and has incredibly raised in excess of £30,000.  I am doing the London Triathlon in August and thought it would be a good opportunity to support Phil's efforts and try to raise some more funds for The Children's Trust.
