Story

Hi -

Steve and I have decided to cycle from London to Paris (I think about 220 miles/350KM) over 3 to 4 days, starting July 6th (so the fundraising is a little last minute). We're doing this for fun and because of the timing, we'll get the chance to watch a stage of the Tour de France on the 7th. This has been about a year in the planning, we're paying for everything ourselves - ferry, hotels, etc and we've also organised everything ourselves - so all of your donation will go to the charity.

It's further than either of us has ever cycled before, so quite a challenge and both of us have decided to see if we could raise some money for our favourite charities along the way. Any money you donate will go directly to the charity - so please give generously - my chosen charity is Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity .

If you pay UK tax, don't forget to opt in for Gift Aid.

Thanks and sorry for the late notice!

Richard

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
