Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Dear Friends, in March 2010 a great old school friend of mine, Robert (Bob) Billson died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of just 41. Bob was one of life's characters, never failing to make us all laugh on every occasion. We shared many great times, from our school days, on skiing holidays and watching football. I was also privileged to be his best man (at one of his weddings!)
In memory of Bob, a group of mainly old school friends (from our time in the Hall at Repton) have decided to cycle from Repton to Holkham in Norfolk, some 135 miles over two days, starting this Saturday September 1st.
Now as many of you will know, I have never been a fan of either cyclists (road menaces!) or especially Lycra! In fact my last excursion on a bike was probably while still at Repton some twenty something Years ago!
It would be great if you could support me with whatever you can, the proceeds going to " The British Heart Foundation" which is a very worthy Charity. I have been doing a little bit of training, and yes I have been wearing Lycra!!
Many thanks
Richard
