Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As a retired amateur jockey & with two other fellow jockeys William Kinsey and Adam Wadlow on the team, we have witnessed the great work the Injured Jockeys Fund continues to do for all jockeys. We therefore decided that in attempting this challenge to try to raise funds to support this tremendous charity.
Our challenge is to ride an Alpine Stage of this years Tour De France, the distance of 130km we hope is bearable but the climbing (a total of 3600m, with 3 category 1 climbs through the day and a final climb of 11km at an average gradient of 8%, combined with altitude) will be the real challenge!
