Story
Hi everyone,
On the 19th January 2019, we will both be attempting to cycle nearly 250km through The Gambia, over approximately 5 days, starting at the Capital of Banjul, while raising money for the construction of Serekundanding School, solar panels for Kuntaur School and food distribution amongst widows, orphans & the needy.
At the end of the journey, our bikes will be donated to the children of Zeenatul Islam School, in Kuntaur. The students there have to walk an average of 10 miles everyday, so for most, a bicycle would be a great help. The school currently provides for some 500 children.
We are hoping to raise at least £2000 and would appreciate any donations, no matter how small. You would be donating to a great cause and making a difference for the children of Gambia. All money goes to Caravan of Mercy Charity (Registered UK Charity No. 1115896). We are self-funding this trip so none of your money is being put towards our own costs. Our bike ride challenge in The Gambia is targeting to raise £50,000 to enhance the charities work in The Gambia & West Africa.
If you'd like any more info, don't hesitate to email us!
We appreciate your support.
