Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've decided to take my Dad's place in the Royal parks half marathon as he has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer.
He is currently being treated at the Macmillan Unit at the Calderdale Royal Hospital, and in recognition of the work they are doing I have decided to raise money specifically for this unit. They have also successfully treated my stepmum and some other friends in the past.
Please donate as much or as little as you like, as I know the unit will be thankful for everything they can get. It will also help to spur me on as I start to struggle after the first couple of miles!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
