We support serving/retd R SIGNALS soldiers to keep our heroes out of hardship
Story
In my role as Commanding Officer (Reserves) of 32 Signal Regiment I aim to raise funds for both Poppy Scotland and the Royal Signals Benevolent Fund (RSBF). My aim is to raise £1918 as a minimum between the two charities.
I thought it would be relevant to march with weight (20kg) on the following events with a culminated total of 100miles (one per year of the centenary). Any funds will be split between the 2018 Poppy Pledge and Royal Signals Benevolent Fund. The events I intend to enter are as follows (date):
Lanyard - 40 miles (28/04). Race the Sun - 1 event - 12.5 Miles (11/05). Yorkshire 3 Peaks - 24 Miles (TBC). Airborne March, Oosterbeek - 9 miles (01/09) Glasgow Half Marathon (30/09) and Personal Fitness Test - 1.5 Miles (11/11) - Remembrance Sunday.
