Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 1st of May 2017 I will be completing a Skydive in aid of the UK Sepsis Trust. This is a cause very close to my heart since tragically losing my friend, Paddy, who suffered from Sepsis last year.

In the UK, 44,000 people die from Sepsis each year. The UK Sepsis Trust works to spread awareness, train healthcare professionals to spot the signs and support all those affected.

I will be falling from 13,000 feet which scares me a lot but it's all in aid of a great cause! Please donate if you can - every penny counts and will go straight to the charity to help with the invaluable work they carry out. The Skydive has been self-funded so all donations to this page go directly to the charity.

Please visit http://sepsistrust.org/   to find out more about the charity and learn the signs and symptoms, it could save a life!

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
