Story
Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
18 months ago, I (Rhian) was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a challenging time in my life but with the love and support from my family, friends, all at the Prince Phillip Cancer Unit, Singleton Chemotherapy unit and the Bupa Nurse team, I am feeling healthy and fighting fit once again. Now that I'm feeling well, I've decided to give something back, not only for myself, but for all the people I have met along the way who are close to my heart; those that are now fighting fit and those who are still battling cancer.
To do this I wanted to do something extraodinary; so I've decided to jump out of a plane in a tandem skydive for Cancer Research Wales, with my future son in law Chris Eady, who is petrified of heights! The dive will take place on Sunday 30 October 2011 at Swansea airport (depending on weather conditions) after my final treatment on the 27 October. YES!! So everyone who has donated is welcome to come along and see us in full flight falling from 15,000 feet!!
The cost of the sky dive will be covered by us, so every penny you donate will be given to charity. Thank you again for taking the time to visit our page and, hopefully, donate through JustGiving.
