On the 19^th of June our beautiful Mum sadly passed away after a very short illness. She was the most loving and caring person, the glue to our family, had the most beautiful smile and gave us everything we could ever need to follow our dreams.

On the 10^th of June Mum was moved to East Lancashire Hospice where she received the most wonderful and dignified care from all the Doctors, Nurses, Staff and Volunteers and for this we are eternally grateful. The fantastic care of the Hospice was not only received by Mum, but by us as well. Whether it be someone to talk too, a hug or simply making you a cup of tea to give you that little pick me up.

You hear stories of how amazing the care is at East Lancashire Hospice, but it is when you experience their care first hand you truly appreciate how they go above and beyond. Not only for patients, but for the patients loved ones too.

The Hospice is run entirely on donations and costs £3.7 million a year to operate. We feel now it is the time to give back so the next family in need of the Hospice’s care can do so.
