Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I contracted meningitis just before I was 2 years old which left me profoundly deaf. This didn't stop my mum and dad taking me to swim lessons, which I absolutely loved. I joined local swim clubs when I was 12 years old where I swim competitively now. I have made qualifying times to swim in the Deaflympics in Sofia in Bulgaria at the end of July. Great Britain Deaf Swim Club have selected me to represent Great Britain and I am the youngest Swimmer to be selected.

Unlike the Paralympics Deaflympics are not funded through the Govenment and rely on donations and sponsorship. Your money will help to get me to the Deaflympics which costs approx £2800 per althlete to go and covers flights, accomodation, kit, swim coaches and support staff. So anything you are able to give will help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
