In memory of Michael Maxwell Bayley

22nd May 1950 - 3rd April 2017

Beloved husband of Katy and father of Daniel, Victoria, Jonathan and Joanna.

Michael sadly passed away on 3rd April after a graceful battle with Oesophageal Cancer. His funeral will be held on Wednesday 12th April, 2.30pm at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Chorley.  

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to Cancer Research to provide vital research in to screening programmes and treatment of Cancer. 

Oesophageal cancer is the 13th most common cancer amongst adults in the UK, affecting around 8,750 people per year. Oesophageal cancer doesn't usually cause any symptoms until a late stage and has often spread quite far by the time it's diagnosed. At present, no national screening programme exists.
