Story
Hello every one,
David and I have been supporting Romsey Mill since our first boy, Winston, was born. I was new to the country and never been a mum before, Romsey Mill opened its arms to me and through it i learnt so much and met so many of my friends that i hold dear to this day. My husband David since then had the atmost appreciation to Romsey Mill and promoted it almost on a daily basis. we are forever grateful to them.
My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and our life turned upside down. we understood the emotional journey that many has taken before us, we stayed hopefull until last year when our Doctor announced that David is terminal and there is nothing we can do.
you can never prepare yourself to part with the one you love, and you can never put a scale on the emotions you go through. and no child should ever go through grieve or pain like this.
We said goodbye to David on the 17th of February.
David, my very organized husband, left a list of things he would like for his funeral, one of them being "no flowers instead donate to Romsey Mill".
Please lets generate as much as possible to this amazing charity as they do so much for our community.
much love and appreciation
