Story
Sadly my mum, Hilary passed away on Sunday 26th April peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She had been ill for some time but with her strong spirit, enormous determination and stubbornness, as I am sure at some stage you have all encountered, she overcame setbacks and showed her zest for life. However, in the last few weeks, she became very frail to the extent that she sadly lost her fight for life.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday 16th May at 10.00am.
Regrettably due to the coronavirus a limited number of people can attend, though I know that there would have been a much larger congregation as she was much loved by many. For this reason, I have set up this page in order that you can make a donation in honour of “my mum” should you wish to do so.
The charity I am nominating is the MS Therapy Centre, who has no Government help, it is run purely from donations. I suffer from MS and for some time I carried on alone until I found the Centre. Not only do they offer a wide range of alternative treatments, but the Centre is a hub of happiness and positivity which helped me greatly. Mum was overjoyed for me, she was so excited about it, every time I spoke to her she asked if I had been and how I was getting on.
As with all charities at this time, a lot of fundraising events have had to be cancelled so I am positive that mum would be more than happy for your donations to help keep this Therapy Centre open which was very close to both of our hearts.
