On Tuesday 25th January 2022, our beloved father Dave Uden passed away following a short but devastating battle with cancer. He spent the last few days in our family home and was with his wife and four children who held his hands and surrounded him with love and reassurance as he passed.

My Dad was a man who made a difference to everyone he met, from his first students at Whitleigh and then St Boniface, to his friends in the hockey community after years of playing and coaching. He thrived on helping others to develop into the best versions of themselves with kindness and compassion and we will miss him dearly.

Many of our friends and family have reached out to ask about donations and we have decided to support Exeter based charity InFocus. Dad wanted to be able to help improve the lives of children in education with additional needs, specifically visual impairment following his work in Saltash Community School.
