Story
Ruaidhri was born on the 24th January 2012 and like all children he was special, it was quickly discovered that Ruaidhri was a little extra special he was born with a heart condition Known as tetralogy of fallot (TOF).
Plans were put into action rather quickly and how this was to be managed through a series of major surgeries throughout Ruaidhri's life. the first one being at only 6 Days old.
Ruaidhri spent the next month in Yorkhill Royal Hospital For Sick Children recovering and his Mum and Dad were given a room at Ronald Mcdonald House.
In September 2013 Ruaidhri went back into Yorkhill to undergo a second heart operation which lasted 25 hours in total. This was to increase the oxygen levels in his blood. Ruaidhri spent the next 6 weeks in Hospital and once again Ronald McDonald house was there to support my family and give us a place to stay so that we could be close to Ruaidhri.
On Monday the 28th of October Ruaidhri was allowed to come home, Unfortunatley having to return to hospital on the Thursday.
Sadly On Friday the 1st of November Ruaidhri's Life was taken from us.
As you can see Ronald McDonald House Yorkhill were always there for us in weeks of need and we feel that its now our time to help them. All donations no matter how small will be greatly recieved.
So please spare a thought and some change and Remember Ruaidhri
