As we all know, people over 70 have been asked to go into self isolation for the own protection from the Corona virus. At Regenerate-RISE that means we can't support them through them attending our day centres, but we plan to still support them! We want to deliver food boxes not only to those who usually attend our centres, but also as many older people that need them in the Putney, Roehampton and Battersea areas, as well as help collect prescriptions etc. Amazingly lots of other community groups have sprung up to help the elderly and we will work with them to avoid duplication. You can donate food or help pack the boxes, but we would also be grateful for financial donations, so we can buy extra things as needed. We also usually rely on fundraising with our members and the local community to keep going; like all charities we cant run any physical events at the moment so we would really appreciate your generosity!
