Fundraising for Thinking of Oscar
Story
Many of you know that swimming is my strongest sport but combine it with a 19.8k bike ride and 5.7km run and it is going to be a challenge!
On the 13th June I am competing in the 2015 Blenheim Palace Triathlon along with 47 of my friends. We are taking part to raise money and awareness for 'Thinking Of Oscar' and hopefully collectively raise £100.000.
Our close friends Hannah and David Cole unexpectedly lost their beautiful little boy Oscar last year aged just 16 months. This event is the real kick off for Thinking of Oscar and we are hoping to raise a lot of money to support and make a difference to children and their families whilst in hospital care. We are currently in the process of acquiring a HMRC Gift Aid number which means that we cannot at this stage claim Gift Aid on your contributions. However once we have received this we will then retrospectively be able to apply for Gift Aid manually.
