I was formally diagnosed with a large rare malignant ocular melanoma (eye cancer ) September 2021, but I’ve known something wasn’t right since the end of July 21. I rapidly lost sight in my right eye as the tumour caused detachment of my retina. I had my eye removed in October as the tumour was too large for any other treatment . I am adjusting to a new normal .
