I'm doing a sponsored glide, which means getting into a very small, tiny, tiiinnnyyy plane and floating in and out of clouds, very high up. I'm not a huge fan of flights or planes, but I want to raise funds to re-build the houses that have been crushed, flattened and destroyed by the Earthquakes in Nepal. Families have lost loved ones and neighbours, relationships strained under the enormous trauma of what has happened. It's a small thing to do to provide someone with a house, but it is a meaningful start for those who have lost everything.

Nepalese people are resilient, gentle and positive, yet anyone would struggle watching their house collapse around them. By rebuilding these homes we not only provide people with a new shelter and security, but we show them that I the midst of their storm we care, Jesus cares and that peace and security are tangible and within reach. We are also providing emergency items such as blankets, food and medicines.
