We fund cutting-edge medical research to prevent and earlier detect gynae cancers

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In the UK, 58 women are diagnosed every day with one of five gynaecological cancers (womb, ovarian, cervical, vaginal and vulval). That’s over 21,000 new cases every year. Sadly, of those 58, 21 will die of their illness.

The Eve Appeal is a fantastic charity which aims to raise much needed awareness of these cancers so that more women and men understand the key signs and symptoms; encourage open and honest conversations about gynae health; and fund ground-breaking medical research into risk prediction, early detection, screening and treatment.

On Saturday 28th of September, to mark the end of Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, Catherine (one of my oldest friends) and I will be trekking the Go Red 25k Trek through the Cotswolds to raise funds for The Eve Appeal.

Your support is very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Rebecca and Catherine x
