Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer.

1 in 3 of us will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in our lifetime.

This disease effects all of us in some way and Macmillan cancer support are there to help people affected by cancer every step of the way.

Macmillan provide medical help for cancer sufferers and they also offer practical, emotional and financial support.

I am running the Great South run as part of Team Macmillan. This is going to be a big challenge for me as I have never done anything like this before. At the tenth hole we have set ourselves a target of raising £10 000 and by running the GSR I am trying to get us one step further towards achieving this.
