Story

Hello!

Myself and Adam have decided to put ourselves through the pain of running the Stoke-On-Trent 10k together on Sunday 14th September. Now it is not going to be easy for somebody like me with wonky legs to run 6.2 miles without stopping, and I'm sure Adam will beat me to the finish line!

Adam's best friend's mum, Trish Conroy, has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, so we have decided to run this race in her honour to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

For those of you who don't know, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

We would really appreciate if you could help us reach our goal of raising £1500 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by sponsoring us a few pounds. Your money will help to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by Motor Neurone Disease and it will definitely encourage Adam and I to keep running when our legs are tired and we feel like giving up!

We would also love you come and show us some support on race day and cheer us on! J

Thanks in advance for helping us out,

Love Bex and Adam. X
