I am running the, well attempting to run, the Great North Run on September 10 2017 in memory of my grandad. 

In early 2016 my grandad was diagnosed with agressive bladder cancer. This came as a shock to all of us as my grandad was always on the go always doing something either in the garden or his garage. He started his treatment and went through chemo and radiotherapy. He wasn't able to do the thing he use to do but he never gave up hope and was determined that he would beat it. Sadly on 4 October 2016, after the battle with cancer, my grandad died of a heart attack and brain hemmorage. My world was stunned and thrown into a mess. My grandad meant so very much to me and he taught me so much. I lost my grandad and to this day I still can't quiet except it. He gave me so much and taught me so much that i wanted to try and give something back. 

I vowed that I would do the Great North Run to raise money for Fight Bladder Cancer a charity in which people know very little but are trying to build awareness. 

Please help me raise some money for this charity and raise awareness!
