In Kenya there are 71 primary schools for deaf children but only 5 secondary schools meaning deaf children are missing out on the education they deserve. This summer I will be spending 4 weeks building a fully equipped secondary school for 200 deaf children in Riandu, Kenya in the first of three stages.

This is a responsible, grassroots project we can trust as it is backed strongly by the local community in Riandu. Once we have built the school, the government will fund the teaching there, so it is a sustainable project which will benefit many deaf children in the years to come.

Hopefully those of you who know me will be shocked and appauled that someone as unfit as me is going to run 10km in one go, so I would be so grateful if you donate and/or share this page! :)

All the money raised goes entirely to the materials and services needed to build the school.
